This book considers how the church can reflect God's compassion and forgiveness to divorcees yet stand firm on the sanctity of marriage and the vows of lifelong commitment. Written in the third person, from the perspective of 'Chris', a committed Christian who collapsed inside, and barely kept himself together outside during his divorce. Examines how Christians, who have endured divorce, can go through the stages of recognition, repentance, redemption and transformation. Each chapter will end with a prayer and reflection, which can be combined to create a liturgy to acknowledge the divorce experience.
